We don’t publish any costs for large events as all events are different and whilst we could publish the menu cost this would not be a true reflection of the total you would have to pay.
It’s always useful to have a budget in mind and if you share this with us and tell us what’s important, we can make sure you get the most out of it. So here is a helpful guide as to what the total cost of your event might be.

Menu Cost
Picnics & cold buffets range from £16 to £35 per person. 3 course dinners and table feasts are £35 to £55 per person. Canapés are usually £10 to £12.50 for a selection of 5 or 6 canapés per person.

Kitchen Equipment
If your venue has adequate kitchen facilities we probably wouldn’t need to bring in any additional equipment. If it doesn’t then a basic kitchen set-up including 2 x 6 burner gas ovens, 2 x hot cupboards and 8 x Hi-top trestle tables will be around £468.00. We will need a space to set up too and if your venue does not have space inside you’ll need to provide a catering marquee for us to use.

Furniture
Your venue may well come with enough tables and chairs for your needs but if it doesn’t, 6ft x 3ft trestle tables (seat 6-8) and 6ft rounds (seat 10-12) are £9.60 each. Banqueting chairs of which there are many start at £3.30 each. All large equipment may also incur a delivery charge depending on your location.

Tableware, Crockery & Cutlery
Basic crockery & cutlery starts at around .80p per person per course. A simple glassware package of champagne flute, wine and water glasses will start at around .88p per person. Table linen starts at £10.80 for trestle table linen or £15 for rounds. These are the staples but of course you might also want salt & pepper pinch pots, bread baskets, side plates, linen napkins etc. With all hire from us there will also be a refundable £100 damage deposit payable in advance.

Staffing
Staff costs will vary widely depending on your style of service, number of guests and duration of your event. You should plan for 1 server for every 10-15 guests with an average shift of 6-10 hours.

  • Chefs £15 – £20 p/h

We deliver personally to ensure that our food is delivered in perfect condition.  If you would like to arrange a courier or collect from our base in Goring, please let us know.  We aim to deliver within half an hour of your chosen time slot but cannot be held responsible for adverse road conditions or disruption.  If no one is in to take the delivery, it will be wrapped in plastic & left on the doorstep or near to it.

Boxing Day Delivery is a flat rate of £5 plus extra charges below if applicable.

FREE to:  Littlehampton, Rustington, East Preston, Angmering, Ferring, Goring, Worthing, Findon, Sompting,  Steyning, Lancing, Shoreham

£4 to:  Storrington, Washington, Wiston, Portslade

£6 to: Arundel, Bognor Regis, Ford, Barnham, Yapton, Fontwell,  Brighton & Hove, Henfield

£15-£20 to: Chichester, Midhurst, Petworth, Hassocks, Pulborough, Burgess Hill

Collection charges will also apply to most areas if there are any hired items.  Other transport costs may be charged for large events.

Afternoon Teas and Picnics are delivered ready to eat with no preparation required.  We recommend that food is enjoyed when it is at its best on the day of delivery.  Eat within two hours of delivery or keep refrigerated & then use within three days.  Some dishes may be suitable for heating, which should be done in a hot oven until the dish is piping hot throughout or a core temperature of 85C  is reached. Please enquire if uncertain.

Our kitchen handles the following allergens:

Celery, Cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya & sulphur dioxide.

We take food allergies very seriously & will always do our best to accommodate them with careful handling & preparation, timed separation & exclusive packaging.  Despite our meticulous practises however, we cannot guarantee that there will not be trace elements of any allergen.

Substitutes such as gluten-free may require a supplementary fee.  Some allergies may necessitate the whole order being allergen-free.

If you have a special diet you would like us to cater for, please get in touch so we can create a bespoke menu.

Our boxes & baskets may contain ribbons & small or sharp items that may pose a risk to children.  Do not leave young children unattended with our food boxes & baskets.  Child-safe boxes with a bespoke menu and treats are available, please enquire.

Any of our products containing alcohol must be received by a person of 18+ years of age. If you are lucky enough to look younger than 21 years, valid photo ID may be required. If no ID is available and we believe the recipient to be younger than 18 years, we will not complete delivery and you may still be charged.
