If you're planning an intimate dinner party, a milestone birthday, a garden party or special celebration with family & friends, we create bespoke catering to make your occasion feel truly personal.

Our preparation begins at our kitchen base, where we marinade, cure, pickle, prepare sauces and dressings, and carefully prepare the components that bring each menu together. On the day, we transport everything we need to your home or chosen venue, finishing the cooking on site and adding those all-important finishing touches just before serving. The result is fresh, beautifully presented food, prepared with care and served at its best.

We’re experienced in working in all sorts of settings, from domestic kitchens and private homes to marquees and dedicated event spaces. Depending on your menu, guest numbers and the facilities available, we can make use of your existing kitchen, bring additional appliances and equipment, or arrange a complete temporary kitchen set-up to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Crockery, Cutlery, Linens & staffing

We believe great catering is about more than just the food. Every event benefits from the support of a dedicated Event Manager and Head Chef, overseeing the details and making sure everything comes together seamlessly. From there, you can choose a completely bespoke package tailored to your needs, with professional chefs, waiting staff and bar team, alongside crockery, cutlery, glassware and table linen hire.

Whether you’d like us to take care of every detail or simply provide the essentials, we’ll work with you to create the right combination of food, service and equipment for your occasion.

From the initial preparations to the final clear-up, we take pride in leaving nothing to chance. Once the last plates have been served, we’ll take care of the washing up, clear away our equipment and leave your kitchen or event space clean and tidy. All that’s left for you to do is relax, enjoy your guests and make the most of your celebration.

On the day, the food was outstanding. The ham with piccalilli, cheese and onion tart, scotch eggs, baby potatoes, coleslaw and breads were all exceptional quality and beautifully presented. The kids' food went down a storm too — always a good sign at a party with 50+ children running around. The team on the ground were professional and quietly brilliant — everything appeared at the right time, the setup looked gorgeous, and they handled the logistics of a big mixed-age crowd without a hitch. This is a long overdue but very well deserved review for Love and Rocket Food. They catered our wedding in October last year and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The food was exactly what we wanted – bursting with flavour, perfectly prepared and presented, inventive and different from the standard fare. The team were also incredibly friendly and flexible – we worked with them on the menu and they were more than happy to accommodate all our requests, including preparing vegan portions for one of our guests. They were brilliant on the day too and seamlessly worked around our timelines. We felt we were in very safe hands and we and our guests loved the food.
