We have been lucky enough to work at so many lovely venues throughout Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire from old barns and stately homes to village halls & blank canvas fields. Here are some of our favourites that can work for a range of budgets and different sized events. And not just for weddings either – these venues are great for all sorts of events & celebrations.
Arundel is a beautiful medieval market town known for its magical castle which stands majestically on its hill top. The Town Hall itself was built in 1836 by the 12th Duke of Norfolk and designed by Robert Abraham. Originally the site was south of Market Square, at the end of Market Street, now Maltravers Street, and close to where the old court house stood.
With over 17-acres of lush, secluded grounds, the Honeybridge Estate provides the ideal backdrop for multi-generational holidays or special occasions. The show-stopping House at the top of the hill, the contemporary oak-framed Barn and the picturesque rose-clad Tudor Cottage have all been recently re-imagined to provide modern comforts, whilst retaining the architectural heritage and character of each home.
An entire village made of relocated & reconstructed historical buildings, this beautiful venue is a favourite place for walks & days out, & of course, for being the filming location for the BBC’s ‘The Repair Shop’. It has three venues available for weddings & events including the astonishing & architecturally acclaimed Downland Gridshell Building, & Crawley Hall – an intimate space in a 15th century beamed hall.
A wild and wonderful, elemental, off grid venue nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With outdoor dining and open fire cooking this is one of our favourite venues for team building events & parties throughout the year.
