About Love & Rocket

Love & Rocket embodies the long-term partnership of Jonathan & Sacha. Since meeting in a popular Mayfair brasserie, we have seldom been away from catering.

After training in France, Chef Jonathan headed up many a busy kitchen for restaurants & event companies in London with clientele spanning celebrity chefs, rock royalty, politicians & theatre impresarios as well as teaching Practical Cookery with SEN students at West Herts College.

Likewise, Front of House Manager Sacha has spent years in busy restaurants & event spaces in London, as well as working in social care with vulnerable adults.  She is passionate about the concept of service as a way of life, recognising that everyone deserves individual care & attention, and she is a stickler for ensuring that everything is done to support this in a smooth & beautiful fashion.

We started Love & Rocket in January 2020 from our production kitchen base at Worthing, West Sussex. In late 2023 we moved to our new base and home in the heart of the South Downs National Park at Woolbeding Common near Midhurst.

From here we provide production crew catering for BBC’s The Repair Shop, just down the road and Bake Off Professionals as well as wild fire cooking for weddings & corporate events at Surrey Hills Yurts. We are nominated caterers for the Honeybridge estate for whose clients we create boutique dinner parties, Stanmer House in Brighton and West Horsley Place in Surrey. We also provide crew & artist catering for both Block 9 and The Common at the Glastonbury festival.

At Love & Rocket, sustainability isn’t a separate initiative—it’s simply part of the way we cook, source and work every day. We know that catering has an environmental impact, so we make thoughtful decisions wherever we can to reduce waste, support local producers and create food that celebrates the seasons.
